Vindhyan (Jagadish) an unemployed countryside man, is in love with his childhood friend and cousin Neelima (Mahima) who is now in the US. His uncle and Neelima's father, Rajappan Nair (Rajan P Dev) who is a wealthy businessman promises Vindhyan that he will get both of them married. However Neelima is in love with Shivapal (Saikumar) whom she meets in the US.
